Procuring optimum individuals is an ongoing and evolutionary process. As our society changes, law changes and the communities' expectation of law enforcement changes as well. To meet these needs requires our law enforcement training and education to change concurrently.

At the Highlands Ranch Public Safety Training Institute (HRPSTI), we strive to modify our students educational program to reflect the current standards and expectations of law enforcement, the judicial system and satisfaction of communities needs.

Existing officers must continue their education, practice their existing skills, and learn to employ new techniques and technologies as well. Computer technology is a capability that must be learned, taught, controlled and deployed for cost efficient performance of future officers.

It is essential to very closely replicate actual "call out" scenarios. This allows us to put into practice the concepts that we teach and share the lessons learned from veteran Peace Officers and their wealth of experience. But at the same time listening intently to the knowledge of the future officers and the path they will take to serve their community.
